Northway University’s School of Social Services focuses on cross-functional roles and collaboration that gives students the skills to address today's complex public service challenges. Students need to be able to recognize these skills in themselves and within the group to make the most of their natural resources. Studying health and social care requires the student to have an awareness of values and beliefs, to think laterally and critically, and to be reflective, and responsive to the needs not only of the client but also of other team members across the whole field. The foundation degree program will encourage the development of knowledge and skills that enable each individual to become a valuable member of the multidisciplinary team.
