Northway School of Law defines competencies that help students build daily living skills, investigate career options in legal occupations, use technology in the legal field effectively and efficiently, and prepare for entry into the workplace or related postsecondary programs. The module presents students with basic and practical information about the law in daily life, equips students to participate in the changing of laws, and creates awareness of the many law-related occupational opportunities that are available. It includes a rationale and philosophy for the legal studies strand, strand organization, and planning for instruction.
